Côte d'Azur: Villefranche-sur-mer, oceanfront restaurant

Villefranche-sur-Mer is the port town located next to Nice.
This town is small, but you can see a beautiful views, sea and buildings.
In addition to that, you can enjoy the local dishes of south of France at oceanfront restaurant.
The author recommends the oceanfront restaurant named "La fille du Pêcheur", which means the daughter of fisherman.
In this restaurant, you can enjoy the delicious seafood.
If you want to eat  "bouillabaisse", which is the local food in this region, you have to take a reservation.

  • Train: About 45 minutes (30 minutes on Express) train ride from "Nice ville".
    (by the train from Nice to Ventimiglia)
  • Bus: 1 hour and 15 minutes by the bus from Place Masséna in Nice.
    (by the bus from Place Masséna to Menton)
